Our Beliefs

Rooted in God’s Word, Welcoming All.

At Trinity Lutheran Church, our faith is deeply rooted in God’s Word, guiding us to be an inclusive community of worship, love, and service. We are proud to be a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). This affiliation shapes our theology, our worship, and our unwavering commitment to welcome every individual.

Our Core Convictions

Our beliefs are centered on God’s boundless grace and unwavering love for all humanity. As an ELCA church, we believe in:

Grace Alone

We are saved by God’s grace alone, not by our own efforts. This profound gift liberates us to serve others freely and joyfully.

Faith Alone

Our salvation comes through faith alone, trusting in God’s promise and Christ’s sacrifice.

Scripture Alone

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the authoritative source and norm for our proclamation, faith, and life. We engage with scripture thoughtfully, understanding its historical context and its living relevance for today.

An Inclusive Theology

In a world that often draws lines, Trinity Lutheran Church is dedicated to tearing them down.

Our inclusive theology means:

Everyone is Welcome

We embrace individuals and families from all walks of life, recognizing and celebrating the diversity of God’s creation. This includes the local Hispanic community and the LGBTQ+ community. We believe the church should look like the community it serves.

Open Communion

This is the Lord’s table, not our own. We joyfully invite all Christians to partake in Holy Communion, regardless of denomination, age, or family status. You do not need to be a member of Trinity or any specific church to share in this sacrament.
