At Trinity Lutheran Church, we believe that faith is a lifelong journey of discovery. Whether you are a curious seeker, a parent raising a family, or someone looking to deepen your understanding of the Word, our education programs offer a place to grow. Explore our opportunities for all ages below.
Adults
All services are educational at Trinity Lutheran Church in Las Cruces, NM. Each Sunday’s service provides the opportunity to learn about the liturgical seasons of the year, to hear the Word of God, and explore its meaning. Adult Bible Study meets on Wednesdays throughout the year at 10:00am.
Children
Holy Baptism
It all begins at Holy Baptism! Baptism is God’s action by which God’s promises are graciously given to the baptized. Baptism is for all ages of people, and one of the most wonderful gifts in life.

Nursery
No nursery is available at this time. As our bulletin says: “All are welcome at our service, including toddlers and squirmy children!” Some parents choose to use the Mary Room located outside the sanctuary doors when children need a change of pace. The service can be heard in that room.
Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel is available on Sundays normally September through May. Children, ages 4 up to middle school, gather for their worship in the Sunday School room and rejoin their families in the sanctuary midway through the service. Their time is spent in worship, exploring Bible stories through song and a craft in an open atmosphere where they are free to wonder and learn. Youth
Opportunities are offered for youth in middle school and above.
Confirmation Class
Classes are offered by the pastor or a lay leader for young people interested in a confirmation journey of about 2 years. During this time, we explore the Old Testament, the New Testament and what it means to be a Lutheran in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Youth Group
Youth in middle school through high school are invited to gather 2 Thursday evenings a month 4:45–6:15 pm for a variety of activities including outings, fun, and service projects. For more information contact the Church Office via our Contact Us page.
