Sunday school for children and youth meets each Sunday at 10:30 am. During this time, adults are encouraged to gather in our Fellowship Hall for a period of conversation and coffee.
Trinity Lutheran Church uses a workshop approach to teaching our Sunday school curriculum, Spark, to children PreK through 5th grade. Each Bible story is followed through five Sundays involving the children learning the concepts through crafts and art, drama & music, cooking experiences, Bible skills and games, and science. Presently the children are divided into two age groups: PreK and 1st Grade; 2nd to 5th grade, with the ability to increase to three groups as more children join into Sunday school program.
Middle and high school youth use Echo the Story curriculum which allows them to experience Bible narratives (stories) through storytelling, creative reflection, and dialogue. The youth begin their session by watching an animated video, sketching and writing as they listen. They then discuss their perspectives on the story. This allows the youth to use two ways to find themselves in the greater story.
Confirmation instruction is available to youth 6th grade and above.
